System Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• OS: Windows 11, or macOS 26 on a Mac with Apple silicon
• Memory: 2GB RAM
• Disk: about 360 MB on macOS, about 620 MB on Windows. On Windows, about 260 MB of that is the copy of the installer that Windows keeps for repair and uninstall; Settings > Apps > Installed apps shows the total.

Recommended Requirements

• Memory: 4GB+ RAM for large extracts
• Disk: SSD for better performance
• Network: For remote database connections

Recent versions of the JDBC drivers for the following databases are bundled with DaRT Reader:

• SQLite
• H2
• PostgreSQL
• SQL Server
• DuckDB
• MS Access

If you want to use a different driver or connect to a database system that is not mentioned, you can do so using the command line interface.
